New painting, almost done.

I have been working with handmade stencils.
They look like fallen leaves to me, all scattered where they fall on the ground.

I was e-mailed these wonderful pictures from Jackson Hole Art Association.

They were painted by 1st graders inspired by my show there.

I am often inspired by children's artwork, I love there line and composition.

Very Cool!

Taught a workshop in Jackson.
We worked on building up surfaces in painting, using plaster and mixed media.
It was exciting to see the students dig right in and get messy!

Hanging the show

I just had a show at the Jackson Hole Art Association in Jackson Hole WY.
I spent the week there hanging the show and teaching a workshop.
I love the collaboration of sculpture and painting.
